The hit theatrical comedy “Khayal Mareed” (Sick Imagination) is set to stage a limited run at the Drama Theater inside the New Administrative Capital’s Arts and Culture City, featuring performances on September 24–25 and October 1–2.
The upcoming run follows a sold-out summer season, marking a key cultural expansion for the New Capital as it transforms from an administrative hub into a regional destination for live arts and entertainment.
Starring Hesham Maged, “Khayal Mareed” follows Dr. Taha, an eccentric psychiatrist whose unconventional methods with patients trigger a series of comedic misunderstandings. The production features a prominent ensemble cast, including Mohamed Abdel-Rahman, Hanady Mehanna, Ahmed El-Rafei, Dina Diab, Nagham Saleh, Mohsen Mansour, Waleed Abdel-Ghani, Reham Ezzat, and Nora Soliman.
Written and directed by Mohamed Hamdy, the play is produced by Yara Hassan’s Fikr Production Company.
