
The Eid al-Adha holiday officially ends on Sunday, May 31.
It lasted for six consecutive days, beginning on May 26, making it the longest holiday of the month and of 2026.
June still includes two official paid holidays for employees in both the public and private sectors, in addition to the weekend. These are the Islamic New Year, which falls on Wednesday, June 17and the anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, which falls on Tuesday, June 30.
Government authorities are expected to announce the final details regarding the Islamic New Year and June 30 Revolution holidays later, whether they will be observed on their official dates or moved to the end of the week, in accordance with the established policy for scheduling official holidays.
