Moustafa Bahgat, an Al-Masry Al-Youm photographer, was shot by a rubber bullet as he covered a massive protest in the coastal city of Suez.
Bahgat is currently hospitalized after having received the bullet to his left leg.
Police fired teargas and rubber bullets at more than 8 thousand demonstrators who protested the killing of 3 people in Suez during Tuesday’s “Day of Anger” protest.
Witnesses said that at least 50 protesters were injured in the demonstration.
