Arab foreign ministries discuss cooperation during 3rd UFM Regional Forum


Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shokri held a coordination meeting with Arab foreign ministries on Sunday during the third edition of the “Union for the Mediterranean Regional Forum” in Spain, according to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry’s statement.

The ministry’s spokesperson Ahmed Hafez said that the ministries discussed the Arab countries’ roles in the UFM Regional Forum’s activities, also discussing ways to further cooperation between Arab countries and the EU.

The UFM Regional Forum joins 43 countries including the EU and Eastern and Southern Mediterranean countries, aiming to achieve socioeconomic development and confront challenges facing the Mediterranean region.
