Artist creates retro poster celebrating French-Egyptian Rafale deal

The French newspaper L’Opinion published a picture on Sunday by French web site developer Gaëtan posted on his Avions Legendaires site, celebrating the Rafale aircraft deal between Egypt and France.

The picture bore a retro design ressembling early 20th century advertisements, with "The Egyptian Air Force" written in Arabic and English and Rafale in bold.

Egypt signed an agreement to buy 24 Rafale fighter jets from France, marking the first deal to sell the jets outside France. The historic weapons deal was celebrated in both countries.
