Beheaded body found buried in Mahdia village

Residents of Mahdia village, south of Rafah, uncovered two beheaded bodies, buried without their families being informed, bringing the number of bodies found during the past few days to seven.

Shibana village residents had found the body of a beheaded young Badawi who was kidnapped near his home, the day before yesterday afternoon, by an armed group in a white SUV.

A security source said that the victim was named S. S., 23, and that his father identified his body. He added people buried the body amid anger due to the spread of beheadings at the hands of Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, considered by Egypt and the US as a terrorist group.

A video under the group's name showed the beheading of four citizens from Sinai, accusing them of spying for Israel, according to the video. Tribal sources confirmed that the group detained 15 Sinai residents for allegedly cooperating with Israel.
