Meteorologists predict mild weather along the northeastern coasts and in central Sinai, Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai and along the Red Sea mountain chain, with much warmer temperatures predicted for northern Upper Egypt and hot weather expected for southern Upper Egypt.
Moderately cold weather is predicted along the northwestern coasts.
Temperatures are expected to grow milder in southern Upper Egypt by nightfall, with colder weather expected for the rest of the country overnight.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 26C in Cairo, 20C in Alexandria, 33C in Qena, 34C in Luxor, and 35C in Aswan.
Light rain is also predicted for the northern coasts, central Sinai, South Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, and along the Red Sea mountains.
Fog is expected to impact visibility on the roads in Cairo, Lower Egypt, along the northern coasts, and in central Sinai, while winds will be moderate in most parts of the country.
Active winds are predicted for the northwestern coast.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height with northwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters with southeastern surface winds.
