Cloudy, rainy weather on Monday across Egypt as temps drop by 7C

Meteorologists predict cloudy weather on Monday in the north of Egypt and temperatures to drop by up to seven degrees.

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority anticipates low and medium clouds to continue forming over the north of the country, accompanied by light rain in some areas.

Cooler weather is expected at night in the north of the country, with moderate weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Rain is predicted on areas of the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, the Western Desert, the Suez Canal Cities, and northern Upper Egypt, which may extend to areas of Greater Cairo at intermittent intervals.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between one and 1.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.

  • Northern coasts: 28C
  • Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt: 30C
