Counselor Mohamed al-Homsani appointed as new cabinet spokesman

The cabinet announced that counselor Mohamed al-Homsani was appointed as official spokesman for the Cabinet.

Homsani will succeed counselor Sameh al-Khashin, who works at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Khashin will return to his ministry to assume new duties.

According to a statement by the Cabinet’s media office, Homsani served in Egypt’s diplomatic missions in New York, Zambia and New Zealand.

He also worked at the office of the Foreign Ministry’s spokesman.

Homsani obtained a bachelor degree from Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, in 2001.
