Presidential spokesperson Ahmed al-Muslimany on Friday said Egypt will never forget the historic stance of Saudi King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
“The Egyptian people will always know they have brothers, friends and allies in Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi monarch said earlier on Friday that the people and government of the Saudi Arabia stand with Egypt against terrorism and sedition, and stressed Egypt’s legitimate right to deter abusers.
In his statement, which was aired on Al-Arabiya satellite channel, the king also said that anyone interfering in the internal affairs of Egypt kindles strife, and that he is confident Egypt will recover.
He called on Egyptians, Arabs and Muslims to combat anyone trying to destabilize the security of Egypt.
