Egyptians accepted economic reforms with confidence: Sisi in Hungary

“Egyptian people seek to change their reality, bore the difficult economic measures and accepted them, because they are convinced of the importance of stability and its costs, said President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi at a press conference during his visit to Hungary.

Sisi met Tuesday with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at the start of his visit to Budapest to participate in meetings of the Visegrad Group, after which both officials held a press conference.

Sisi said that the leadership and people of Egypt are maintaining their unity and confronting terrorism and extremist ideas.

The Egyptian President discussed the promotion of joint cooperation to confront terrorism and ways to find peaceful solutions to end the crises in the region, including the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

The meeting dealt with enhancing bilateral relations in various fields between Egypt and Hungary, namely the economic field, Sisi mentioned, adding that the two sides aim to open up prospects for trade and investment.
