
Egypt’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and International Organizations in Geneva Ambassador Alaa Hegazi received Labor Minister Hassan Raddad upon his arrival at Geneva International Airport on Saturday to participate in the 114th session of the International Labor Conference (ILC), organized by the International Labor Organization from June 1 to 12, 2026.
The minister heads Egypt’s tripartite delegation, including representatives of the government, employers, and workers, to participate in the conference, which is the largest international gathering on labor issues.
The Egyptian delegation will participate in plenary sessions and technical committees. The minister will deliver Egypt’s address and hold bilateral meetings with international officials and labor ministers to boost cooperation in employment, vocational training, and social protection.
The minister will also chair the coordinating meetings of the Arab Group participating in the conference in his capacity as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Labor Organization.
