EgyptAir runs 22 flights transferring pilgrims from KSA

EgyptAir has started operating 22 flights from Jeddah and Madinah airports to the seasonal terminal at Cairo International Airport and Borg El Arab Airport to transport 4,800 pilgrims.

The company said in a statement on Friday that it will run throughout the day 11 flights coming from Jeddah to transport 2,500 pilgrims, including a special trip for the pilgrims of the State of Mali and 11 flights from Medina to transport 2,300 pilgrims from Beheira, Matrouh, Cairo, Alexandria, Fayoum, Gharbiya, Sohag, New Valley, Luxor and Qena.

EgyptAir has transferred about 40,000 pilgrims until yesterday aboard 177 flights as part of the air bridge, which is scheduled to continue until September 5.
