A parliamentary delegation headed by Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee MP Ambassador Sameh Shoukry discussed with Director General for External Relations (RELEX) at the European Council Maryem van den Heuvel ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Egypt and the European Union.
The meeting, held on the sidelines of the delegation’s visit to the Belgian capital, Brussels, featured an exchange of views on recent regional developments, current geopolitical challenges and their impact on regional peace and security, and efforts to enhance cooperation in addressing shared challenges facing both sides.
