The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects temperatures to continue rising across most regions on Monday.
The weather will be hot during the day in most areas, and very hot in the southern parts of Upper Egypt, while turning cooler at night and during the early morning hours across most parts of the country.
In Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 31C and 32C, with minimums ranging from 19C to 20C.
Along the northern coasts, the maximum will range between 28C-31C, with minimum temperature between 18C and 22C.
In northern Upper Egypt, maximum temperatures are forecast to be between 32C-34C, with minimums between 18C and 19C.
Southern Upper Egypt will experience the highest temperatures, with maximums reaching between 36C and 37C, and minimums ranging from 19C to 22C.
Meteorological forecasts indicate the possibility of light, intermittent rain across parts of the northern coastal governorates and the northern Lower Egypt.
Winds are expected to pick up, reaching speeds of 30-40 km/h, affecting areas along the northwestern coast, the Western Desert, and exposed parts of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the Suez Canal cities, and Upper Egypt.
These winds may occasionally stir up sand and dust.
Additionally, low-level clouds may form in scattered areas across Greater Cairo, the southern Lower Egypt, and the Suez Canal cities, potentially resulting in a light, inconsequential drizzle in some locations.
