Egypt’s Meteorological Authority on Friday announced its forecast for Saturday the 8th until Wednesday the 12th. The authority predicted a temporary drop in temperatures in the north of the country and in Greater Cairo.
Moderately hot weather is expected along the north coast, with hot weather in Greater Cairo and Delta region, and very hot weather in South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures in Cairo on Friday were predicted to dip to 35C, then rise again to a record 42C on Saturday and 41C on Sunday.
Winds will be active in several areas throughout the entire period.
The authority recommended that the public take precautions to avoid the sunlight, not leave any flammable materials such as alcohol bottles in cars, wear loose cotton clothes, and drink large quantities of water.
Starting Monday, there will be a drop in temperatures in northern Egypt.
