Etihad Airways resumes normal flight schedule after difficult weather conditions

Etihad Airways announces the resumption of its operations to normal after the difficult weather conditions that the country has experienced during the past period.

In response to an inquiry from the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Etihad Airways said that its flights experienced some delays on April 16 and 17 due to the rainy weather conditions in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, noting that some flights may be subject to minor delays, according to the Emirates News Agency.

The company urged passengers to visit its website to check flight departure times, noting that the safety of guests and crew will remain its top priority.

Etihad Airways carried more than 1.4 million passengers on its flights last March and about 4.3 million passengers during the first three months of this year.

Dubai Airports took a series of measures to ensure the continuation of services and the safety of passengers, and urged passengers not to travel to Dubai International Airport unless absolutely necessary.

Dubai’s main airport restricts incoming flights for 48 hours to tackle backlog from record storm, according to Reuters.

Emirates, a major global airline, has temporarily suspended check-in for passengers with connecting flights through Dubai until Friday night (GMT). Passengers flying directly to Dubai are unaffected.
