Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry Sunday held a session of talks with Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon, who is on an official visit to Cairo.
The two sides tackled Egyptian-Slovenian distinguished relations and means of boosting these relations in all domains.
They discussed regional and international issues of shared interest, topped by the war in the Gaza strip.
“Clear vision to strengthen bilateral relations and joint cooperation, and close coordination on means to end the war on #Gaza and reach permanent cease fire,” said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zied wrote on his official account on “X” platform.
The two diplomats are set to hold a joint press conference after concluding their talks.
