Giza Court blast took place after defendants in Cairo University case left

Investigations into the blast that took place in front of the South Giza Court early Sunday said it occurred after the transport of 41 defendants in the Cairo University events from prosecution to prison.
 
The blast left no casualties, neither did the court or the prosecution building suffer any damages.
 
The IED used in the attack caused damaged to a police transport truck and totaled the body of another truck, parked near the Giza Metro station.
 
The blast scene was investigated for evidence, to later be used in further investigation, while the prosecution ordered to speed up the investigation for the sake of the National Security service on the case in order to quickly find the identity of the perpetrators.
