The chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority Ahmed Abdelaal said a heat wave is expected to hit Lower Egypt, Cairo, and Upper Egypt starting Friday.
The hot weather will extend until Tuesday, he added. Weather temperatures will increase during this period from 3 to 5 degrees above the usual.
A relative increase in humidity levels is also predicted during this period along the north coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo and the Suez Canal cities, Abdelaal mentioned.
