The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts hot weather on Friday in Lower Egypt and Greater Cairo, slightly hot along the northern coast, and very hot weather in southern Egypt, with moderate temperatures at night.
Satellite data indicates wind activity across the country, with speeds ranging from 30 to 35 km/h. These winds may stir up sand and dust in parts of the Red Sea Governorate and Upper Egypt at intervals.
The EMA warned of rough seas in some areas along the Red Sea coast and the Gulf of Suez, where wind speeds may reach 40-50 km/h, with waves reaching heights of two to three meters.
The authority indicated a slight chance of low cloud formation over different areas from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo and the Suez Canal cities, potentially accompanied by light, insignificant rain in some areas.
The EMA advised citizens to take all necessary precautions to mitigate the effects of the expected weather phenomena and to stay updated on the latest weather forecasts.
Friday’s temperatures:
- North Coast: 25C
- Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt: 33C
- Northern Upper Egypt: 36C
