Heatwave across Egypt for Tuesday and Wednesday

Meteorologists predict hot weather on Tuesday and Wednesday across Egypt during the daytime, with very hot temperatures on Upper Egypt.

Tuesday will see moderately hot weather during the daytime on Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, with mild weather on the northern coasts, hot weather at South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains and north of Upper Egypt, and very hot weather at southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures will be 27C at the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, 28C in the northwestern coasts, 34C in Lower Egypt, 35C in Greater Cairo, 37C in south Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, and 44C in southern Upper Egypt.

Mist is expected during the morning hours at Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt.

Winds will be moderate across most of Egypt, active on Greater Cairo and the Gulf of Suez, disturbing maritime navigation there.

Wednesday is predicted to see hot weather in the daytime on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and the Red Sea mountains, with mild weather on the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, moderate weather on the northwestern coasts, and very hot weather on Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following areas are: 29C in the northeastern coasts and central Sinai, 31C in the northwestern coasts, 37C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains, 39C in northern Upper Egypt, and 42C in southern Upper Egypt.

Mist is expected during the morning hours at Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt.
