Here is the maximum daily cash deposit limit for banks and ATMs in Egypt

The National Bank of Egypt website recently announced an increase in the daily cash deposit limit via ATMs for debit cards, for both individuals and companies to LE 100,000, with a monthly deposit limit of LE 500,000.

 

Bank and ATM Withdrawal and Deposit Limits

This report outlines the daily withdrawal limits at bank branches and ATMs, as well as the transfer and withdrawal limits via the InstaPay app, according to the regulations in place until mid-2025.

 

Maximum Daily Bank Withdrawal Limit

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) decided in April 2025 to increase the maximum daily cash withdrawal limit in local currency to LE 250,000, up from LE 150,000, and to LE 30,000 from ATMs, up from LE 20,000, to facilitate banking transactions for customers.

The CBE previously set a fee for each withdrawal transaction.

However, the service remains free if the customer withdraws from an ATM belonging to the card-issuing bank.

The Central Bank also set a maximum limit for daily cash transactions.

 

Maximum Daily Transaction Limits

ATMs allow 24-hour withdrawal and deposit services for all Egyptian banks.

However, there is a daily maximum cash withdrawal limit, whether through ATMs or branches, according CBE regulations.

The maximum daily withdrawal limit for ATMs is LE 30,000, following the Central Bank’s recent decision.

 

Daily Withdrawal Limits at Banks

The daily deposit limit at National Bank of Egypt ATMs is LE100,000, and the monthly limit is LE 500,000.

The Central Bank of Egypt previously set ATM withdrawal fees at five LE per transaction when using ATMs of banks other than the card issuer.

Balance inquiry fees vary from bank to bank.
