Hot and humid weather is predicted for Cairo and the delta on Monday, with an average temperature of 36 degrees centigrade in the capital.
The north coast will be cooler, with patchy cloud and a chance of sea fog at the start of the day. Temperatures in Alexandria and Port Said will average at around 31 degrees.
Temperatures will get hotter moving further south, with highs of 37 degrees Celsius in Ismaillia and Suez. North Sinai will be slightly cooler, with highs of 34 in Arish. Very hot, dry weather is predicted for the southern regions of the country.
The waves on both the Mediterranean and Red Sea will reach between 1.5 to two meters, accompanied by a northwestern wind.
