The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) expects hot to very hot and humid weather during the day across most parts of the country on Tuesday, with moderately hot and humid conditions along the northern coasts.
Temperatures will be more moderate by night and early morning.
Weather maps warned of high humidity levels, making the weather feel hotter than expected by two to three degrees Celsius.
Humidity levels could reach 90 percent in the north of the country.
The EMA advises avoiding direct sun exposure, especially during afternoon.
When going out, the EMA also advised wearing a head covering to protect yourself from the sun’s rays, and avoid standing in the sun for long periods to prevent heat exhaustion.
