Hot, humid weather expected for Monday, Cairo 36C

Meteorologists expected hot weather to prevail on Monday across Egypt, with added humidity in Cairo and Lower Egypt.

High temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 36C in Cairo and 32C in Alexandria, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 42C in Aswan.

Low and medium-level clouds anticipated over the North Coast and Upper Egypt, with mist affecting visibility in the morning.

Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. They will be active throughout Upper Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea governorate and the Gulf of Suez, affecting maritime navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea ranging between 2 to 2.5 meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.
