Hot, humid weather expected Tuesday



Meteorologists are predicting hot, humid weather in Cairo on Tuesday, with a top temperature of 35 degrees in Cairo. Similar conditions are expected in the north of Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt.
 
Moderate weather is expected along the north coast, with highs of 31 degrees in Alexandria.
 
Upper Egypt should be much hotter, with 41 degrees in Qena, 42 in Luxor and 43 in Aswan.
 
In Sharm el-Sheikh, the maximum temperature will be 40 degrees and in Hurghada 42.
 
Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the north coast, Cairo, Suez Canal cities and Lower Egypt.
 
The wind will be mostly moderate and northwesterly. It will be active in the north coast and in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
 
Waves on the Mediterranean are expected to average between 1.5 and 2 meters high, while the Red Sea will see waves of between 2 and 2.5 meters, with a northwesterly surface wind on both seas.
