High temperatures for Egypt over the next three days



The Egyptian Meteorological Authority announced the weather forecast for the next three days, expecting a slight rise in temperatures Friday and Saturday before decreasing on Sunday. It also expects high humidity across all three days.

Meteorologists predict moderately hot and humid weather on Friday during the daytime in Cairo and Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the north coast, and very hot weather in Upper Egypt and South Sinai.

Temperatures will become moderate across the country by nightfall, with mild temperatures on the northern coasts.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning hours in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts. Light rain, and thunderstorms in some areas, are expected in different parts in the far south.

Winds will be moderate on the northern coast, and will kick up dust in southern Upper Egypt.

Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 45-88 on the northern coasts, 35-82 in Cairo and Lower Egypt, 25-65 in northern Upper Egypt, and 18-41 in southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, and 42C in Luxor and Aswan.
