Hot weather expected for Friday, Cairo 37C



 

Meteorologists expect hot weather on Friday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, growing milder by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are; 37C in Cairo and 31C in Alexandria, 39C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low and medium-level clouds are to be expected.

Winds are predicted to be northwestern and mild. They will be active on western coasts and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds. Meanwhile, waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
