Hot weather to continue on Wednesday, Cairo 35C

 

Meteorologists predict hot weather to continue across Egypt on Wednesday for the second day of Eid al-Adha.

Moderate temperatures are expected for the northern region, while southern Upper Egypt will be very hot in the daytime.

Weather will be more moderate across all regions at night.

Mist will affect visibility in northern Egypt’s morning hours. Low clouds are expected on the north coast, while winds will mostly be northwestern and moderate.

It will be active in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting navigation there.

Waves in and around the Mediterranean Sea will be mild, and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea it are expected to be turbulent range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height.

Northwestern surface winds are predicted on both seas.

Temperatures predicted are: 31C in Alexandria, 35C in Cairo, 39C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.
