Another shooting in North Sinai claimed a life on Monday when man was killed and two others injured by gunfire in an attack by unidentified gunmen on a cafe in Sheikh Zuwayed, North Sinai.
The man was sitting on the cafe when he was shot dead, while the other, who was injured, was passing by.
The third was injured when he was passing a checkpoint in North Sinai that was attacked by gunmen.
This was the second shooting in North Sinai on Monday, after unidentified gunmen shot dead army Officer Abdallah Shaaban in Arish’s Masaeed neighborhood while in an armored vehicle. Three other members of the armed forces who were riding in the vehicle were also injured.
