Metro company bans 14 carry-ons items with new regulations

The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation issued 14 new regulations that includes banning certain objects and carry-ons, according to the metro company's spokesperson Ahmed Abdel Hady.

Passengers found with those in their possession would be subject to an immediate fine. The new regulations were hung on the walls of metro stations.

 
Prohibited materials include flammable materials and liquids like LPGs and freon cylinders, all types of animals and birds, long sticks of wood or iron, large screens, large luggage and boxes, sharp instruments of all kinds, bulbs and fireworks, bikes, TVs larger than 14 inches and plastic sacks.
