Mild weather across Egypt on Friday

Egyptian meteorologists predict mild weather during the day on Friday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains, and northern Upper Egypt.

Mild temperatures are expected for the northwestern and northeastern coasts and central Sinai, with somewhat hotter temperatures in southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures across most of the country will grow colder by nightfall, with moderately cold temperatures expected in South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains, and southern Upper Egypt.

Light rains are expected to fall across Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northwesterly and northeasterly coasts and central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 22C in Alexandria, 26C in Cairo, 29C in Qena, and 31C in Luxor and 32C in Aswan.

Winds will be present in Greater Cairo, the northwesterly and northeasterly coasts, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, stirring up sands and dusts in some areas and affecting maritime navigation south of Sinai and the Red Sea mountains.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
