Military Production Minister, Spain’s ‘Quimica 21’ company discuss bilateral cooperation

State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Saleheldin discussed with a delegation of the Spanish company “QUÍMICA 21” boosting bilateral cooperation in various manufacturing domains.

During the meeting that took place at the ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, the two sides discussed establishing a factory for producing dry powder used in refilling fire extinguishers, Spokesman for the Military Production Ministry Mohamed Eid Bakr said on Friday 03/11/2023.

Salehedin expressed his ministry’s keenness to implement President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s directives to transfer and localize modern manufacturing technologies through cooperation with different local and international private sector companies, particularly in light of the current global changes in the world.

The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Military Production Authority and Managing Director Emil Helmy Elias, and a number of the ministry’s leaders.

In response to the immediate needs of the Spanish market, the company QUÍMICA 21, S.L. was formed in 1990 for the sole purpose of manufacturing class ABC, BC, and D powder extinguishers.
