Military trucks carrying soliders are deployed in Gamra neibhorhood, nearly five miles away from the president's house and one of the presidential palaces, according to eyewitnesses.
Protestors were heard shouting slogans in support of the military.
Earlier, eyewitnesses said that protestors captuared tens of riot policemen in the same neighborhood.
