Moderate temperatures expected for Wednesday, Cairo: 36C

 

Meteorologists predict that hot weather is expected to slightly decrease across Egypt on Thursday, with moderate weather prevailing in the northern coasts.

Hot temperatures are expected across Lower Egypt and Cairo, with the highest temperatures expected for Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, growing milder at night.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities; 31C in Alexandria, 36C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, 42C in Luxor and 42C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning, and low-level clouds are expected to appear in north of the country.

Winds are predicted to be northwestern and mild, active on the western coasts.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while the waves in the Red Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters.

Surface winds on both seas will be northwestern.
