Meteorologists predict moderate weather on Thursday during the daytime for Cairo and Lower Egypt.
Weather will be mild on the northern coasts, moderately hot in South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains and northern Upper Egypt, and very hot in southern Upper Egypt.
Temperatures will grow moderately cold across most parts of the country by nightfall. Mist is expected during the morning hours in Cairo and Lower Egypt. Light rainfall is also expected on various parts of the northern coasts.
Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 25C in Alexandria, 30C in Cairo, 38C in Qena and Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.
Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate across most of the country, active in South Sinai and potentially disrupting maritime navigation in the Red Sea, and Gulf of Suez.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height. Waves in the Red Sea will be rough, ranging between two and three meters in height. Surface winds will be northwesterly on both seas.
