Meteorologists predict moderate weather across Egypt’s northern parts, Lower Egypt and Cairo on Friday. Hot weather is expected for northern Upper Egypt in the morning.
Hottest temperatures are expected for southern Upper Egypt, growing milder at night.
Maximum temperatures in the following cities are 27C in Cairo, 27C in Alexandria, 31C in Qena, 32C in Luxor and 33C in Aswan.
Mist will affect visibility in the northern parts in the morning. Low and medium clouds will dominate northern Egypt, followed by rainfall in the northern coasts and some areas in Lower Egypt.
Moderate winds are northwesterly in direction and active in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, disturbing maritime navigation there.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are moderate and range between 1.5 meter and 2 meters, while waves in the Red Sea are moderate to rough and range between 2 meters and 2.5 meters.
Surface winds are northwesterly for both seas.
