Moderate weather expected Tuesday in Egypt

Meteorologists expect moderate temperatures along Egypt’s north coast on Tuesday, while warm temperatures are predicted for Lower Egypt, Cairo and North Upper Egypt. Hot temperatures are anticipated in southern Upper Egypt during the day with milder temperatures at night.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning in north and central Sinai.

Low and medium level cloud cover is expected in the north and winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength and will be active in South Sinai, the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range from between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with rougher waves in the Red Sea ranging from between 2 to 2.5 meters. Surface winds will be northwesterly in both seas.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 30C in Cairo and 27C in Alexandria, 36C in Qena, 37C in Luxor, and 38C in Aswan.
