Moderately hot weather for Egypt on Sunday as temperatures begin to decrease

Meteorologists predict moderately hot weather on Sunday during the daytime at Cairo, Lower Egypt, with moderate weather on the northern coasts as temperatures across the country begin to decrease.

Hotter weather is expected on northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai, with very hot weather at southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will grow mild across most parts of Egypt at night, and moderate on South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 28C in Alexandria, 30C in Cairo, 39C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.

Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.

Light rainfall expected on South Sinai, and northern coasts.

Winds will be northwestern and moderate across most parts of the country. It will be active sometimes on southern Upper Egypt, the Gulf of Suez and Red Sea, disrupting maritime navigation there.

Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 45-85 on the northern coasts, 25-75 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 22-50 in northern Upper Egypt, and 14-30 at southern Upper Egypt.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height.

Surface winds will be northwestern over both seas.
