Moderately hot weather for Egypt on Sunday

Meteorologists predict moderately hot weather on Sunday during the daytime at Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northwestern coasts.

Moderate weather is also predicted for the northern coasts, with hotter temperatures on northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai, and very hot weather at southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will grow mild across most parts of Egypt at night, and moderate on South Sinai and southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 30C in Alexandria, 32C in Cairo, 38C in Qena and Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.

Mists are expected during the morning hours on Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the northern coasts.

Winds will be northwestern and moderate across most parts of the country. It will be active on South Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, and south western parts, blowing up sand and dust, and disrupting maritime navigation in the Gulf of Suez.

Maximum and minimum humidity levels are: 45-80 on the northern coasts, 25-75 at Cairo and Lower Egypt, 22-55 in northern Upper Egypt, and 14-20 at southern Upper Egypt.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height.

Surface winds will be northwestern over both seas.
