The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecasts a continued temporary rise in temperatures across most parts of the country on Tuesday.
Temperatures are expected to peak in the south, with felt temperatures reaching 46C on Wednesday—a day when September’s weather merges with the heat typical of August.
The weather will be hot during the day and tend towards mildness at night, with a chance of mist appearing on some roads.
The EMA said that weather conditions on Wednesday and Thursday will see a continued slight and temporary rise in temperatures across most regions.
Hot conditions will prevail during the day, while the night will be humid and mild—leaning towards hot—with persistent high humidity levels intensifying the perceived temperature.
According to weather forecasts, maximum temperatures along the northern coast will range between 30C and 33C, while Cairo and the Lower Egypt will see highs of around 35-36C.
Temperatures in northern Upper Egypt will range from 38-40C, reaching 44-45C in southern Upper Egypt.
The weather will rise by approximately two degrees due to high humidity levels.
