No cabinet members resigned: spokesperson

No Egyptian Cabinet officials have resigned, according to government spokesperson Sherif Shawqi, after a day of bloody street clashes which saw the Egyptian capital ground to a halt.
“What the supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood did are terrorist acts," Shawqi told the privately-owned al-Hayat satellite channel, referring to Friday's violence which saw dozens killed on the streets of Cairo. "The security forces are now pursuing a number of prominent Brotherhood leaders."
Omar, the son of prominent Brotherhood leader and businessman Hassan Malek, was arrested, Shawqi announced.
