Nour Party candidate attacks media

West Delta Nour Party candidate and media spokesperson for the party, Nader Bakkar, dealt a blow to media on Saturday, accusing it of being controlled by corrupt businessmen.

The media has also campaigned for political parties that are competing with the Nour Party, he added in a rally for the party in Alexandria.

"Some media, including the state media, focus on distorting the Nour Party," he mentioned.

Bakkar added, "What do you expect from newspapers owned by tax evasive businessmen?"

He pointed out that one of those businessmen owns an organization that owes the state LE14 billion in taxes.

Bakkar said he filed ten claims against the media for insulting him.
