Omar Khairat, Wael Jassar, and Medhat Saleh to perform at Cairo Opera House’s Valentine’s Day festival

The Cairo Opera House is organizing a Valentine’s Day concert festival, spanning three consecutive nights from February 12th to 14th, at the Fountain Theater to mark its official opening.

The concerts are part of Culture Ministry’s plan to present major artistic events that blend classical and contemporary music, targeting diverse audiences.

The festival kicks off on Thursday evening, February 12th, with a concert by Lebanese singer Wael Jassar, accompanied by his orchestra and conducted by Maestro Adel Ayesh.

He will be joined by Kenzy and Amira Ahmed.

During the evening, Jassar will perform a selection of his most beloved romantic songs, in an evening filled with heartfelt lyrics and melodies.

 

A truly romantic occasion

The festivities continue on Friday evening, February 13th, with a concert by singer Medhat Saleh, accompanied by musician Amr Selim and conducted by Maestro Ahmed Amer.

He will be joined by singers Rehab Mutawa, Tamer Abdel-Nabi, and Suzan Mamdouh.

During the concert, Saleh will perform a selection of his own songs, along with classics from the golden age of Arabic music, while Amr Selim will present some instrumental solos in his distinctive style.

The Valentine’s Day concert concludes on Saturday evening, February 14th, with a performance by composer Omar Khairat and his orchestra, featuring a selection of his most famous compositions.

This festival reaffirms the Cairo Opera House’s role in presenting refined arts and reviving major artistic events through programs that combine authenticity and diversity, keeping pace with the aspirations of Egyptian and Arab audiences.
