The head of the Musicians Syndicate, Mostafa Kamel revealed the latest details regarding singer Hani Shaker following reports of his deteriorating condition.
During a phone interview with MBC Masr channel on Sunday evening, Kamel asked the Arab public to pray for Hani Shaker, adding: “Your prayers are needed. God is great and generous. Please pray.”
Shaker is suffering from a very delicate respiratory crisis with no medical cause, completely unrelated to the surgery he underwent.
He also denied reports that Shaker’s digestive system was failing.
Kamel urged everyone to be accurate in reporting on Shaker’s health condition, calling for respect for the patient’s and his family’s privacy.
He emphasized that Shaker’s trip abroad was not due to any negligence or shortcomings on the part of Egyptian doctors.
He explained that his illness caused atrophy in all of his body’s muscles, necessitating muscular rehabilitation, which led to the suggestion of traveling to France.
