PM follows up status of gov’t dues to Arab Contractors Company

Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly asserted that the State was keen on accelerating the payment of dues owed by a number of governmental bodies to “Arab Contractors” Company in order to pursue with its plans for development and construction.

The premier’s remarks were made during a meeting held on Sunday with a number of ministers including Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Housing Essam El Gazar, Minister of Transport Kamel el Wazir, Minister of Local Development Hisham Amna and Board Chairman of Arab Contractors Company Ahmed El Assar and top company officials.

The premier pointed out to the big size of businesses carried out by the company inside and outside Egypt, asserting the importance of paying the government dues to the company in order to increase its activities and works.
He also discussed the importance of outlining an integrated plan to develop the company’s businesses and ease all measures needed to be involved in more service and development projects in the various sectors.

Meanwhile, El Assar briefed the premier on the company’s plans for expansion in the development projects and the size of debts owned by the various ministries and bodies to the company.

The minister also reviewed their plans to pay the financial dues according to a specific timetable.
