Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Dioces assigned Bishop Julius of Old Cairo Churches to communicate with the families of the Egyptian nationals abducted in Libya.

The families have been staging protests outside the Coptic Cathedral in Cairo's Abbassiya district demanding the release of their sons.
