Pro-Brotherhood supporters assault state TV reporters

Supporters of deposed President Mohamed Morsy assaulted reporters from the state TV and took broadcasting equipment in their possession. The assault occurred outside al-Rahman at Salah Salem Street in Cairo.

Reporter Hamada al-Araby, in a phone-in with media host Buthayna Kamel on state TV, said Brotherhood supporters assaulted them once the crew told them they worked for government TV. He said protesters refused to allow the crew to continue covering the demonstrations and demanded the reinstatement of Morsy.
