Program and open channels broadcasting the Qatar 2022 World Cup Final

The curtain falls on the 2022 World Cup, Sunday, after 28 days and 63 matches as Argentina and France meet and both teams are looking up to the top trophy.

Before the match, there will be a closing ceremony to send off this unforgettable World Cup.

Al-Masry Al-Youm reviews the date of the 2022 World Cup closing ceremony, the frequency of the open channels broadcasting it, and all the details related to the celebration:

World Cup Closing Ceremony

As is the case for every World Cup, and most global sporting events, the Closing Ceremony will take place on the final day of the tournament, yet this will come before the final match instead of wrapping the event up.

The final match will start at Lusail Stadium at five pm Egypt time.

The closing ceremony of the 2022 World Cup will be held at Lusail Stadium, an hour and a half before the start of the final match, at exactly 3:30 pm Cairo time.

The closing ceremony will last 15 minutes, giving enough time for the stadium to warm up and start the final match.

Who will perform in the closing ceremony of the World Cup?

FIFA has kept its cards close to its chest as to who will be performing at the Closing Ceremony, but that doesn’t mean we don’t know some of the artists participating.

Nigerian singer Davido has been chosen to perform at the World Cup closing ceremony, and is set to be joined by Puerto Rican artist Ozuna.

His song, Arhbo, was included as part of the official tournament soundtrack from. He collaborated with Congolese rapper Gims on this track so they both feature in the closing ceremony.

Canadian-Moroccan singer Nora Fatehi is also performing at Lusail Stadium on Sunday, and her song Light The Sky — which also features Belkis, and Rahma Riad— was included in this FIFA World Cup soundtrack, so expect a live performance of that, too.
